1 ½ shortening
2 ⅔ brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t. vanilla
2 ¼ c. flour
2 t. cinnamon
½ t. nutmeg
1 ½ t. baking soda
1 t. salt
4 c. old fashioned oats

icing:
¾ c. shortening
3 c. pwd. sugar
1 jar marshmallow cream
1-3 T. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening brown sugar, eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add oats last.
Icing: Whip ingredients together.
Small spoon drop size, bake at 350º for 8 min. DO NOT OVER BAKE, LET COOL
Put icing between two cookies
