3 gallons dandelion blossoms
1 gallon boiling water
3 lbs. sugar
4 lemons, thinly sliced

Directions:

Pour the boiling water over the blossoms and let stand 36 hours. Strain.

Add the sugar and lemons. Boil 2 minutes. Let ferment. Then strain and bottle.

Cannot make out the direction after the mixture has boiled for 2 minutes. In checking modern recipes this is probably "forment". Today's recipes call for wine to forment for 10 - 14 days until bubbling stops. Then strain the liquid and bottle.
