Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 egg yolks
1 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbs cocoa powder
2 heaping Tbs flour
3 Tbs margarine or butter
¾ cup evaporated milk
¾ cup water
1 Tsp vanilla
2 Frozen pie shells

Directions:
Directions:
Separate egg yolks into 2 separate bowls. If using 2 deep dish pie shells you will need to double the recipe. Polk holes with a fork in the bottom of the pie shells and bake at 350º for 20 minutes until light brown. Once the pie shells are finished baking, take them out of the oven to cool. In the meantime, place all the dry ingredients in heavy sauce pan on medium heat and mix well. Immediately add the butter, egg yolks, evaporated milk and water. Stir mixture until it becomes thick and starts to boil. This will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from stove and add the vanilla extract. Pour ½ the mixture into one shell and the remaining mixture into the other pie shell.

If desired, Use the remaining egg whites to make meringue by beating meringue until glossy then add ¼ Tsp cream of tartar and ¼ cup sugar until stiff peaks form. Again remember to double the recipe if you use deep dish pie shells. Broil in oven for one minute until peaks turn light brown. Remove from the oven and cool, then place in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
