1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 bell pepper chopped
3 onions chopped
1 stick of celery chopped
1/2 cup of green onion chopped
5 toes of garlic sliced
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp of thyme
1/2 stick of margarine
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
1/4 cup of red wine
1/2 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of italian seasoning
sweet basil
1/4 cup of Lea and Perrins sauce
1/2 Ground meat balls
1/2 lb Italian sausage

Directions:
Directions:
heat olive oil and margarine
add trinity and sautee until translucent
add garlic and cook until garlic is soft (about two minutes)

once all is caramelized real nice add tomato paste and sauce and simmer for 15-20 minutes

add thyme, italian seasoning, lea and perils, sugar

simmer for 20 minutes and then add 3 cups of water and and green onions

simmer 30 minutes

brown meatballs and italian sausage slightly in frying pan

add meat and simmer for 30-45 minutes

add water as needed to make a saucy consistency

add salt and pepper to taste

Serve over spaghetti pasta
