1 C unsalted butter
1 C Almond Paste
2 C sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 C flour
6 oz “flat” almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cream butter and almond paste.
Beat in sugar and eggs.
Add flour and salt.
Pour into greased 9X13 glasspan.
Press nuts gently into top.
Bake until light brown and pulling away from edges ( 35-40 minutes)
Cool very well before cutting into small squares, can refrigerate before cutting.

Alt. Adj. reduce flour by 1/2 C, use jelly roll pan and bake 22 minutes
