1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
Dash salt
2 T. cocoa
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. butter
1½ cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cooked pie shell

Meringue:
3 egg whites
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
6 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Put 1 cup milk and dry ingredients in saucepan. Add ½ cup milk to egg yolks & beat together. Add to other mixture. Stir constantly, cooking on med-high heat until thickened.
Place in cooked 9" pie crust.

Mix meringue ingredients together until stiff peaks form. Put on top of pie, and bake at 400º for 8-10 minutes.
