1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 can tart, pitted cherries (NOT pie filling)
1 small box cherry Jello
1 cup drained crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, dissolve sugar in water, then add cherries. Bring the 3 ingredients to a boil and continue boiling for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, then add the Jello, stirring until dissolved. Lastly, add the pineapple and pecans. Stir well.
Put in a glass bowl, cover and refrigerate.
