1 pound ground beef
2 cups whole or 2% milk
4 tablespoons melted butter
4 tablespoons flour
salt/pepper to taste
optional: garlic powder or garlic salt
peas, frozen
bread, for toasting or biscuits

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan over medium high heat, brown the beef. Season with a little salt and pepper and garlic powder. Drain excess grease and set aside. Melt butter in the same sauce pan. Add flour and stir until butter/flour mixture is bubbly. Add milk slowly and stir constantly until thick and bubbly. Season with more salt and pepper. Add beef back in and stir. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Cook frozen peas and either add to S.O.S. or serve on the side. Serve S.O.S. over toast or biscuits.
