2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
2 tablespoons shortning, melted
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup raw cranberries, sliced
1 orange rind, grated
2 tablespoons hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Sprinkle cranberries with a little flour. Add remaining ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Bake in loaf pan 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350. Refrigerate overnight.
