3 lbs. fresh thin asparagus stalks
1 packet Good Seasons Garlic Dressing Mix
Light vegetable oil
olive oil
balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil about 3 quarts lightly salted water. Plunge asparagus into boiling water, cover and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes. Immediately drain, dip in cold water bath and drain again. Set aside cooled asparagus. Prepare dressing mix following directions on packet, using olive and vegetable oils to equal proportion of oil, and substituting balsamic vinegar for the vinegar. Pour dressing over asparagus and marinate overnight.
