3 pounds stew meat
3 stalks celery, chopped bite size
1 small package carrots, chopped bite size
1 medium onion (larger than bite size)
2 turnips peeled, whole
2 T vegetable oil
2 beef bouillon cubes or 2 cups beef broth soup ( if using cubes, dissolve in 2 cups hot water)
4 or 5 potatoes, chopped bite size
1 can cream corn
1 can French-style green beans, drained
2 cans stewed tomatoes
1 large can V-8 juice

Directions:
Directions:
Chop frozen stew meat into bite size pieces. Heat 2 T of vegetable oil in soup pan until hot. Brown stew meat on medium-high heat. Add 2 cups of beef broth. Simmer meat in broth for 20 minutes. Add potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, and turnips. Add another cup of water or beef broth. Cook until vegetables are tender on medium heat. Then, remove turnips. Add one can of cream corn, 1 can of French style green beans, drained, 2 cans stewed tomatoes, and 2 cups V-8 juice. Let simmer as long as desired.
