12 medium red potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion or garlic salt
2 pounds mild cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup heavy cream or mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Cook unpeeled potatoes until almost tender but firm. Cool, peel and grate about 4 1/2 cups. Grease 9" x 9" baking dish with butter. Cover bottom with 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 seasoning, top with 1/2 cheese...repeat for top layer, pour soup over top. Bake at 350* 1 hour.
