1 pkg (12 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Butter or Margarine
1 can (14 oz) Condensed Milk
2 cup Flour
1/2 cup finely chopped Nuts (optional)
1 tsp Vanilla
60 Hershey's Kisses

1 (2 oz) White Baking Bar or Vanilla Flavored Candy Coating
1 tsp Shortening

Directions:

Preheat oven 350º

In medium pan combine chocolate chips and butter.
Cook over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth (can be microwaved).
Add condensed milk and mix well.

In medium bowl combine flour, nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla, mix well.

Shape 1 Tbsp dough around each kiss, covering completely. Place 1" apart on UNGREASED cookie sheet.

Bake 6-8 minutes (will be soft and shiny, but will become firm as they cool) DO NOT OVERBAKE!!! Remove from cookie sheet and cool.

In a small saucepan, combine white baking bar and shortening and stir over low heat until melted and smooth (or use microwave). Drizzle over cookies

Store in tightly covered container.
