1 cup Butter or Margarine
4 squares Unsweetened Chocolate
2 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup sifted Flour
1-1/2 cup chopped Walnuts or Pecans
1 pkg (6 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions:

Melt butter and chocolate in medium size pan over moderate heat (or do in microwave). Beat in sugar gradually with wooden spoon until thoroughly combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition; stir in vanilla. Stir in flour until combined, stir in 1 cup of nuts.

Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Combine remaining nuts and chocolate chips; sprinkle over top of mixture, pressing down lightly. Bake 350º for minutes. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
