12 oz. chocolate chips (milk, semi sweet, dark--your choice)
1 cup heavy cream
3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
A pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place the chocolate in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, (stir often) bring the cream, butter, and salt just to a boil. Remove from heat.
Pour over the chocolate and let it stand for one minute.
Whisk until smooth, then mix in the vanilla extract.

Cover with plastic wrap and let thicken overnight at room temperature, or refrigerate for 1 - 1½ hours.
Use as frosting, filling, dip.
