1 c milk
½ c Flour
1 stick oleo or butter (soft)
½ c Crisco (Must be Crisco)
1 c sugar
1 pinch of salt
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook together over low flame, stir constantly milk and flour. It will be very thick, Keep from being lumpy, then let cool.

Cream oleo or butter, Crisco, sugar, salt, and vanilla and add little by little to mixture of milk and flour.
Put this icing between layers (all four) and on top and sides.

This cake should be kept in a cool place.
