¼ cup butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg yolk
chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream ingredients together. Form dough into round balls. Beat egg yolk lightly. Dip balls in egg yolk. Roll in chopped walnuts. Poke a dimple in the centre of each ball. Bake at 350º F for 8 - 10 minutes. (After 5 minutes, poke again) Take out of oven when done and drop a bit of your favourite jam in the centre (where dimple is).
