8 - 10 slices dried bread
dash of nutmeg
⅓ cup raisins
¾ cups milk
2 whole eggs
⅛ tsp. cinnamon
¼ cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat milk together with eggs and vanilla. Break bread into small pieces and soak in milk and egg mixture until bread is soft. Add raisins and melted butter and spices. Mix until mixture is lumpy but well blended. Place pudding mix in a lightly buttered casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 400º.

Nothing tasted better on a cold winter day after an afternoon of skating or sledding than Dads' bread pudding. Even better when real maple syrup is drizzled over top.
