Directions:I recommend cooking these burgers on the stovetop. The combination of the cheese inside of the meat can cause for potential of a lot of flames on the grill. You can still cook it on the grill but I recommend a low heat.
Put the hamburger meat in a large bowl along with the eggs, taco seasoning, and the shredded cheddar cheese. Dice your onion and sauté it in a pan with butter along with your Serrano pepper, garlic, cayenne pepper and jalapeño pepper. Once caramelized add to your meat mixture. Mesh all of your ingredients together with your hands and form into 4 hamburger patties.
Prepare your sauce. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream and green onions together in a bowl. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Pan fry your hamburgers until there is only a little bit of pink left. Add slices of pepper jack cheese to each patty and leave until it’s melted. Add to rolls then top each patty with a bit of crushed Doritos and slices of Avocado. Add sauce and put the bun top on each one. Enjoy! This isn’t your typical kind of hamburger! It’s unconventional and has some spice to it. |

Notes: I recommend listening to Evil Ways by Carlos Santana. “You've got to change your evil ways, baby, before I stop lovin' you. You've got to change, baby, and every word that I say is true.” – Lyrics taken from Evil Ways
My little brother Gene and I are both trumpet players. He is very talented! We both played through high school and some after. I even helped Billy record one of his songs with my trumpet. I was a section leader and loved to solo in Marching and Jazz band.
In this picture we were playing the theme from the movie "Forrest Gump". Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
