1 C (2 sticks) Butter
½ C Sugar
1 Egg
½ tsp Almond Extract
2 ¼ C Sifted All Purpose Flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream butter, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and almond extract. Gradually blend in flour. Divide dough as desired, and add food coloring. Fill cookie press. Using desired plate or tip, form into various shapes on baking sheets. Decorate with colored sugar and candies. Bake in preheated 350º oven.
Yields about 4 dozen cookies.
Note - Do not chill dough. Use at room temperature. If dough becomes too soft, add 1 or 2 Tbsp Flour.
