! lb. ground beef
½ c. chopped celery
⅓ c. onion
2 T. chopped green pepper
1 c. ketchup
½ c. chili sauce
2 T. brown sugar
1 T. cider vinegar
2 t. dry mustard
salt and pepper
6 hamburger buns, split

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef in a large skillet along with the celery, onion, and green pepper. Drain if necessary and stir in ketchup, chili sauce and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 15 min. Serve on buns

This is the best sloppy joe I've tasted and a great way to use mom's chili sauce, you know that one we all hated as kids but have come to appreciate. If you don't want to use the fresh veggies, just add a little more chili sauce--its all in there!
