2 cups quick oatmeal
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Combine oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, baking powder and soda in a large bowl. Cut butter until it forms fine crumbs. Reserve 1 1/2 cups crumbs and set aside. Mix peanuts into remaining crumbs. Press into a lightly sprayed 9x13" pan. Bake 15 minutes. Stir together sweetened condensed milk, egg and peanut butter until blended. Pour evenly over partially baked crust. Lightly stir together reserved crumbs and chocolate chips. Sprinkle over peanut butter layer. Bake 15 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
