Gram's Easter Bread Recipe

12 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of margarine
Rind and juice of one orange and lemon
2 tablespoons of anise flavor
2 tablespoons of vanilla
1 cup of warm milk
10 cups of flour
(3) 2 packages of yeast (dissolve in 1/2 cup of warm water)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs with mixer, add sugar, melted margarine, flavorings and dissolved yeast. Add warm milk and flour-use mixer until it won't take it. Finish kneading on flour board then let dough rise in oiled bowl, cover and let rise until doubled. Shape into loaves and let rise for 2 hours. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes.

*Flavorings are optional-may use anise seed or other flavor.

I do not know how many loaves this makes, but it must be quite a few with 12 eggs and 10 cups of flour! I found this in Gram's handwriting in my box of recipes and thought I would share it for Easter!
