Pastry for 1 crust of 9" pie
3/4 cup Royal City pumpkin
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp mace
3/4 tsp ginger
dash of clove
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup cream or evaporated milk
3/4 milk, scalded

Directions:
Line a deep 9" pie pan with pastry
Flute edge high as the filling is generous
Chill the crust in the freezer compartment of refrigerator for 20 minutes
Combine pumpkin, salt, spices and brown sugar
Mix until well blended
Beat eggs lightly, add cream or evaporated milk, and beat
Stir egg mixture into pumpkin mixture
Add scalded milk and stir just until blended
Pour into chilled pie shell
Bake in 425ºf for 15 mintues
Reduce heat to 350ºf and bake for 55 to 60 minutes
