4 lb ground beef, browned and drained
2 large onions, minced
1 tsp dried minced garlic (or 2 cloves garlic, minced)
1 cup celery, choppped
1 tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp (heaping) dried oregano
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp flour
1 can (28 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz) whole tomatoes (Blend or chop ahead)

After browning the ground beef and draining the fat, add all the remaining ingredients. Rinse the tomato cans with a little water and add to the sauce. Simmer for 4 hours.

This is actually easy recipe and very popular in Novak branch. Again, a recipe that works best cooked low and slow. So allow the time.
