Taco Crust:
1 3/4 to 2 c flour
1 pkg quick rise yeast
1 T sugar
2 tsp fine chopped onion
3/4 tsp salt
2/3 c water
2 T oil
1/2 c crushed corn chips
Taco Meat Filling:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 c chopped onion
1 pkg taco season mix
3/4 c water
Toppings:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomato
Chopped black olives
Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, onion and salt; mix well. Add very warn water and oil to flour mixture. Mix until smooth, stir in corn chips and enough remaining flour to make a stiff batter. Spread into a well greased 10 inch pie pan, forming a rim around edge. Cover and let rise in warm place about 10 minutes.
Meat Filling: Brown ground beef and onion. Add taco season and water, simmer 25 minutes.
Spread meat filling over dough. Bake 375º for 30 to 35 minutes until crust edge is crisp and golden brown. A toppings, serve with taco sauce and sour cream.
