3 eggs
1 1/2 c oil 
3 c sugar 
3 c flour
3 t soda
3 t baking powder 
6 T cocoa

Frosting:
1 1/3 c sugar
6 T butter
6 T milk
1 T vanilla
2 c chocolate chips

Cake:
Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mix with a wooden spoon or a large Pampered chef spatula.  This is a very, very stiff dough.  After all ingredients are blended, add 2 c hot tap water gradually.  Add 2 tablespoons vanilla.  Pour into 9x13 pan.  There's enough batter to make a bread loaf pan cake also.  Use about 2 cups batter for this.  Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Frosting:
Mix sugar, butter and milk in saucepan.  Boil for 30 seconds.  Add vanilla and chocolate chips.  Stir until thick.

This recipe originally came from Grandma Nelson. She brought the cake recipe to share at my Pampered Chef bridal shower :) This cake recipe in combination with my favorite frosting is amazing every time!
