6 to 8 medium size potatoes
1½ cups margarine
1 cup milk (added in small amounts)
salt

Optional:
garlic salt
sour cream
parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Peel potatoes and slice into even 3/4" thicknesses. Place in large pot and cover with water. Boil for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft to a fork. Drain. Mash well until smooth with a potato masher or a hand mixer. Add margarine and mix until melted and smooth. Add milk a little bit at a time mixing well until potatoes reach desired consistency. Add salt to taste.

Wallaby's Smashers:
2 -3 red potatoes
4-5 russet potatoes
Peel russet potatoes completely and remove 2/3 of the skins from the red potatoes.
Add optional ingredients in addition to regular mashed potatoes.
