½ cup of low sodium soy sauce
¼ cup cornstarch
3 T sherry
2 T brown sugar
1 T minced ginger
1 pkg mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb thin sliced beef(elk or venison)
3 T olive oil
1 lb broccoli
1 cup beef broth
rice or chow mein noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Mix soy sauce, corn starch, sherry, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. Pour half over meat and mix. Reserve the other half and set aside. Heat oil in a heavy skillet or wok over high heat. Add broccoli and cook. Remove to plate. Add meat to hot skillet and brown both sides. Remove to plate. Pour reserved sauce into skillet with beef broth. Thicken: add meat and broccoli, stir and serve over rice or chow mein noodles
