1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs

2 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

cinnamon and sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients thoroughly. Sift together, and add the next four ingredients. Form into balls (about walnut size) and roll in cinnamon and sugar mix. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart, as they will spread. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees.
