1 quart whole kosher dill "store bought" pickles
2 garlic cloves
1 ½ cup sugar
2 T vinegar
1 onion sliced
2 cinnamon sticks (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pickles and cut into chunks ½ to 1" thick
place in a clean qt. jar
combine rest of ingredients; pour over pickles
Cover & refrigerate
Stir mixture once a day for 2 or 3 days
Your "homemade" pickles are ready to serve after 3 or 4 days
