2 TBSP oil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 lbs ground beef, cooked/drained
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
2 - 6 oz can tomato paste
1 1/2 cup hot water
8 lasagne noodles
1/2 lb ricatta or cottage cheese
1/2 lb (or more) of shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Cook noodles until tender.
Preheat oven to 350º

Add oil and chopped onion to skillet and cook untill soft, add beef and cook until thoroughly brown. Drain grease from meat. Return to stove, stir in seasoning, tomato paste and hot water. In a 9 x 13 baking dish add a thin layer of sauce, then add 3-4 noodles, cottage cheese,mozzarella cheese, and sauce. Repeat/layer all ingredients. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350º or until sauce is bubbling. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
