1/2 C butter
1 C packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 C flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 C sour cream
1 3/4 C chopped cashews
Frosting
1/2 C butter cubed
3 TBS half and half cream
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 C confectioner's sugar
Cashews halves, optional
Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl cream butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients: add alternatively with sour cream to creamed mixture. Stir in cashews. Drop onto greased sheet by tbs.
Frosting
Lightly brown butter in small saucepan. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add cream and vanilla. Beat in confectioner's sugar until smooth and thick. Frost cookies, top each with cashew half if desired
