1/2 C butter softened
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1 C granulated sugar, divided
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 C all purpose flour
3/4 C baking cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp salt
24 caramel filled milk chocolate kisses

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. In another wisk the next 5 ingredients, gradually beat until creamed mixture. Shape rounded tbs into balls. Roll in remaining sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased sheet. Back until begins to brown, 8 - 10 minutes. Immediately press kiss into center (cookie will crack around edges). Cool on pans for 2 minutes and then remove to wire rack to cool.

Yield 2 doz
