1 prepared yellow cake - crumbled
1/4 cup Chambourd (liquor)
1/4 cup Peachtree Schnapps
2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding, mixed with 3 cups milk
2 pkg. frozen raspberries, thawed
2 cans cling peaches, drained
2-8 oz. containers cool whip
slivered almonds, if desired

Crumble 1/2 cake into bottom of trifle bowl. Pour half of each liquor over cake. Put 1/2 of pudding over liquor. Combine raspberries and peaches, and put 1/2 of the fruit over pudding. Top with 1/2 of the coolwhip. Repeat layers and top with slivered almonds.

Vicky brought this to one of our holiday gatherings one year, and again her dessert was a big hit. It is light and refreshing. In other words, it's really, really good! Careful how much the kiddies have though, since alcohol is involved.

You may want to split this recipe between two trifle bowls, unless yours is really large.
