3/8 cup granulated sugar
1 3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup melted margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup seedless raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix granulated sugar with brown sugar and melted margarine. Add beaten eggs and quick cooking oats. Stir in sifted flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add chopped walnuts and raisins. Mix well, and drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.

This recipe was given to me (Diane) by Memere Beauregard. This is her recipe, which I cut in half, as the original recipe made way too many cookies for me. It would be great for a large group so people, so double it if you'd like.
