12 oz. dried pineapple
36 oz. dried apricots
5 oz. dried cherries
13 oz. dried apples
12 oz. prunes
cut fruit into small pieces. Amounts and types of fruit can be varied.
14 cups or 112 oz. apple juice
4 cups or 32 oz. grape juice
1 heaping teaspoon cloves
2 short sticks of cinnamon
¾ tsp. salt
¼ cup sugar
7 T. instant tapioca

Directions:
Directions:
Pour juice in Kettle and heat to boiling. Put cinnamon sticks and cloves in cheesecloth and add to juice. Turn heat down to med high. Mix salt, sugar & tapioca in a bowl and add slowly to juice, stirring with wisk constantly to avoid clumps. Stir continually until dissolved. Slowly add fruit, stirring until coming back to a slight boil. turn immediately down to simmer or low. Leave on low or simmer for hour or so, until fruit is soft. Make sure to watch it closely while heating up so it does not burn. Cool. Serve Cold.
