Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Salad:
5 Pounds of Potatoes
6 Eggs (hard Boiled and chopped)
6 Diced Sweet Pickles (Midgets)
1 Onion (diced)
1 Celery Heart 6-7 pieces of it (diced)

Sauce:
3/4 Cup Miracle Whip
1/4 Cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard (Just for the hint of yellow)
2 Dashes of Black Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Put the potatoes in a large pot filled 3/4 full with water. Leave the skins on at this point! Boil until the potatoes are completely done all the way through (approx. 1 hr, stick a fork in to see if they are soft in the center). Boil the eggs until hard boiled (approx 20 min.) Once potatoes are done you can let cool about 10 min. and then you want to peel and cube into a large bowl. Let Eggs cool 10 min. and peel and chop (yokes and whites both) onto the potatoes. Add celery, onions and pickles.
In a separate bowl, mix Miracle Whip, milk, sugar and yellow mustard. Add a dash of pepper. Finger taste to make sure it tastes like Grandmas salad dressing.
Mix the sauce into the bowl and put into the fridge for 2 hours to chill.
Serve and YUMMY!!!!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I was born in the early 1970's and have loved grandma's potato salad for so many decades now. But I remember when she finally gave up the recipe, I went to her house and she and I made it (so that I could measure her ingredients, as she never measures anything so it wasn't easy to just tell me what to do...lol). It was such a fun day, circa 2009...Here I am almost 10 years later putting it in our family cookbook #2. always worthy of being in a cookbook! We love you Grandma Jackie Neese <3
