2 pkg dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1/2 c. warm milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. grated orange rind
5 c. flour

GLAZE:
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. orange juice
1 tsp. orange rind

Directions:
Directions:
ROLLS: Soak yeast in warm water 5 minutes. Combine warm milk, sugar, shortening, salt, eggs, orange juice, orange rind, 1/2 of flour (2.5 cups) and yeast mixture. Beat 2 minutes with electric mixer or by hand until smooth. Add remaining flour and beat 2 more minutes. Turn out on lightly floured board and round dough into smooth ball.

Roll dough into oblong 10x16 inches. Spread with soft butter. Fold over lengthwise and cut into 1/2 inch strips.

Twist strips into snail shape. Place several inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place for 45-60 minutes. Bake at 400 F for 12-15 minutes.

GLAZE: Combine powdered sugar, orange juice and rind. Drizzle over rolls while still warm.
