1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 1/2 cup Oatmeal
1/4 cup Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into a roll about 2 to 2 1/2 inches in diameter, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze overnight. Slice into 1/8 inch slices and bake at 350ºF 10 to 15 minutes.
