Bread Croutons unflavored
Butter
Chopped Garlic
Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Bread should be broken up into small pieces. (The package that grocery stores sell at holiday time is great for this.)
or Cut up your own selection of bread but they need to be toasted or dried out before making croutons.
Melt Butter probably at least ½ lb. Put garlic in pan as it is melting.
Add bread to pan and toss briskly let toast for a little color.
Pour into bowl let cool slightly.
Now toss with Parmesan Cheese.
Store in covered container

This is a recipe I developed over the years for salads and soups. These will not taste the same if butter is not used.
