1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix thoroughly shortening, peanut butter, sugars and egg.

Blend in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Cover and Chill:

Heat oven to 375.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and flatten with fork:

Bake 10 -12 minutes or until soft but not hard:
