2 cups heavy cream such as whipping cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for sprinkling
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Pinch of ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large pot bring water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 9 minutes or according to package directions. Stir occasionally.
2. While the pasta is boiling, pour the cream into a small sauce pan. Bring the cream to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer vigorously, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside until pasta is ready.
3. Drain the pasta and then return it to the pan.
4. Add the warm cream to the pasta. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Toss until well blended. Let sit 3 minutes for the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
5. Serve immediately. Add Parmesan sprinkled on top if desired.
