4 cups broccoli, chopped into nice sized pieces
3 small carrots, chopped
1 small onion
2-4 stalks celery, chopped
3 cups water
2 cups ‘Milk’ base, from this book
2 no-chicken boullion cubes
3 tbl Nutritional yeast
1 tsp Bacuns . . . A flavoring I find at LifeSource
1 bay leaf
Black pepper to taste
Pinch citric acid

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients to pan.

Simmer until vegis are tender, about 20 minutes.

With slotted ladle, remove about 1/2 of the cooked vegis. Set aside in a bowl.

Discard bay leaf.

Use immersion blender to blend smooth the remainder of soup base and vegis in the pan.

Combine the set aside vegis back into saucepan.
