Ingredients:  
In a small bowl add:-

2 1/2 tbsp. yeast
2 tsp. white sugar
1 cup lukewarm water
Let sit until yeast is dissolved

In a large bowl add :-

2/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3 tsp. salt
4 cups lukewarm water
1/2 cup melted shortening

3 cups flour ( to begin with )

Directions:
Directions:
Add shortening and the yeast mixture to large
bowl.
Combine altogether and add flour until right
when dough is no longer sticky. Knead it well.
Place in greased bowl and cover until risen in
double the size, punch down and cut in pieces
and place in greased bread pans and let rise
until doubled and put in 350 oven until nicely
browned and a hollow sound when tapped on
the bottom of loaf.

Make rolls by cutting two small pieces and put
in muffin tins and let rise until doubled.
