1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup white sugar
1½ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2½ tsp. vanilla
2½ cups flour
¾ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1½ - 12oz. bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine all ingredients and mix together. Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes or until edges start to brown.
