1/2C butter
1C packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp root beer concentrate
13/4 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Filling
1/4 C butter
1 1/2 C confectioner's sugar
1 tsp water
1 tsp root beer concentration
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and root beer concentrate. Combine the flour, salt and baking soda, Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape into 3/4 " balls place 2 " apart on ungreased sheet. Bake at 375 for 6 - 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool Completely
In a small bowl, beat the filling ingredients until smooth, Spread on the bottom of half of the cookies, top with remaining cookies.
