2 Cups crushed pretzels
¾ cup melted butter
3 Tablespoons sugar
1 8oz. cream cheese softened
1 Cup white sugar
1 8oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 3oz. strawberry jello
2 Cups boiling water
2 10oz. frozen strawberries

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Stir together crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well and, press mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Set aside and let cool. In large bowl mix together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled pretzel mix. Dissolve jellos in boiling water. Stir in frozen strawberries and allow to sit briefly. When mixture has thickened, pour over cheese layer. refrigerate until set.

Not sure why they call it a salad? It's so good. I don't dare start eating it, because I won't stop. This became one of Josie's favorite desserts; Not sure if it's as good as chocolate cake. Her boys just pick at the strawberries.
