One can (16 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained but not dry
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
½ cup pecans, chopped
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.
Spray a 9 x 13 inch pan with cooking spray. Spread crushed pineapple over the bottom of the pan. Place cherry pie filling on top of pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the top of the mixture (do not mix cake mix into the mixture). Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of dry cake mix. Dot with butter that has been cut into small pieces. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 325º. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
