6 Canes of Sweetened Condensed Milk

Large ;Metal Pot with Lid

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange cans of Condensed Milk in circle in large metal pot.

Fill pot with water until just covering cans.

Place pot on medium high heat and bring to a simmer.

Continue to simmer, keeping cans covered with water for 3 hours.

Turn cans over half way through.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Cans can be stored in dry place for up to 6 mo.

Makes a sweet, creamy Carmel like substance that is delicious in pies or other deserts.
